About Us

Hi, I’m Malina!

If you’re reading this, then you’re probably like me — you take your hair, and your health, seriously.

And you want organic hair products that work.

I've been a hairdresser for more than 16 years and, after a health crisis that left me unable to work or drive for 2 years, I opened an organic salon and launched Saint Hil.

Every formula is mixed, manufactured and bottled in our lab and each product is crafted with the best organic ingredients on the planet — most of which are food-grade, minimally processed, and from nature’s most sustainable resources.

No, really, we don't outsource.

I've been lucky enough to train under the best cosmetic chemists in the country and I personally formulate every product. When I first came up with the idea to start Saint Hil, I knew I wanted to know exactly what went into each bottle, and the only way I could do that was to be closely connected with every supplier and ingredient and to keep the entire process in-house.

We come up with new formulas by testing...and testing....and testing

I am always creating and testing new formulas; Something that can be both challenging and exciting at the same time.

Once a new sample formula is ready, we test it on employees, friends, and family. If it passes that phase, we test on our salon clients. Then we gather feedback, reformulate, test again...reformulate...test again...and again, and again, until we nail a product that clients love.

In fact, we've done this so many times, that once we finally nail the formula, our clients often pre-purchase the product because they love the sample that much.

No wondering what's in the bottle.

Because we're kind of obsessed with ingredients, each one is lab tested for purity and quality and is shipped to us with a certificate of analysis — proof the ingredient is exactly what it should be.

No Animal testing. Ever.

And, because we love furry things, we never test our products on animals and only work with suppliers who never test their ingredients on animals.
